1st International Workshop of Information and Communication Technology in Tourism & Hospitality

The 1st International Workshop of Information and Communication Technology in Tourism & Hospitality (TICTH) examines the recent trends in using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to develop more agile and sustainable processes in Tourism and Hospitality business, potentiating an efficient management, support to decision making and creating value for customers and organizations. Moreover, it will also be discussed subjects related with tourist behavior and its relationship with ICT, namely on using technology to discover, plan and share their travel experiences.

This is a unique and innovative workshop that brings decision makers, researchers and academics from many countries together, for a lively exchange of ideas and research related to the development and sustainability and quality of Tourism and Hospitality ICT and related subjects. This is a significant opportunity for you to hear from leading edge speakers and to network with colleagues in an international atmosphere.

This workshop is aligned with the orientations and actions planned by the European Commission to develop and boost the competitiveness of businesses in the Tourism and Hospitality sector, integrating them into global digital value chains, and improve their ability to create more jobs.

Papers will be selected based on their originality, clarity and contribution to the academic, scientific and professional communities.

The workshop will be held as part of CAPSI'2017, and can be submitted full papers, research in progress papers or posters, using the conference submission guidelines and paper template.
